BCBUA Elections

The President has appointed Jim Van Meer, BCBUA Treasurer, as the returning officer to receive all nominations for Vice-President and Secretary for the next term. Elections will be held at the next annual general meeting to be held at a date to be determined after October 1, 2023. Nominations for election to the Board to fill these two positions must be received by the Returning Officer by September 1, 2023.

An incumbent occupying the offices of Vice-President and Secretary must indicate an intention to run for re-election in writing delivered to the Returning Officer by September 1, 2023. Nominations for election to those offices may be made from the floor only if a position will become vacant, there have been no nominations for such vacant position and the incumbent has not declared an intention to run again for that position.
