Level 2 and 3 Exams are now online

The Level 2 and Level 3 exams are now online for paid members.

To access them, sign in using your 6 digit member number and your password at members.bcbua.ca.

Once logged in, click on exams found in your menu options on the left hand side of your screen.

Provided you have paid your fees and been confirmed for membership, you will have access to both the Level 3 and the Level 2 exams. If you do not have access and you think you should, contact your Area Rep.

The exams are unique to each umpire with 50 questions being randomly selected from a pool. A passing mark is 40 out of 50 or better.

The Level 2 exam provides an option to retake a second exam if the first mark is a fail.

All exams must be completed (i.e. submitted for marking at the end of the exam) by midnight May 31. At that point, access will be shut down and answer keys to submitted Level 2 exams displayed.

The Level 3 exam is marked and answer key displayed upon submission with no retry available.

Questions on the Level 2 exam are based on the Official Rules of Baseball Baseball Canada version.

Questions on the Level 3 exam are based on the Official Rules of Baseball Baseball Canada version or the 3 umpire system manual from Baseball Canada.

You can start the exam, leave it and return later to pick up where you left off. You can change your individual answers up until you submit the exam for marking.
